ECF strongly advises Representatives of Western National Governments to stop insulting the Chinese People by receiving the Dalai Lama as Representative of Tibet Province. As history has proven it - Tibet is part of China since the 13th Century and should therefore stay part of China. The Tibetan people belong -as well as all the other 55 ethnic groups - to the People's Republic of China. ECF urges European and other Western Countries to stay out of the discussion as it is an internal affair of the Chinese people and its Government. It is a known fact that the Chinese Government treasures the variety of ethnic cultures within its own borders and support these ethnic minorities where ever it is possible.
